Having trialled IOBAC adhesive-free flooring installation in the UK, Shell are now rolling out refits of 20 of their forecourt shops across Malaysia.
Our Express Cure resin is laid straight over the existing ceramic tile, with magnetic stone-look LVT dry-laid on top.
These are pictures from the first installation. A brilliant job by the contractor team at TNO, who we trained up remotely via videoconference. Their feedback was that the installation was clean, easy and hassle-free compared to conventional methods.
AND the total install took only 4 days vs. the 10 days taken to traditionally uplift and replace ceramic tiles, generating 6 days worth of additional store revenue.
This adhesive-free solution also means that individual tiles can be cleanly removed and replaced for easy repairs and maintenance – perfect for busy forecourt shops.
